Proud to Cultivate a Legacy of New Mexico WineMaking

For nearly 40 years, St. Clair wines have been crafted in the stunning high desert of southwest New Mexico.

Some might think growing grapes in the desert is impossible. But our family of sixth-generation winemakers knows that the lands of southwest New Mexico offer the perfect alchemy of sun, soil, and soul for grapes that perfectly capture the essence of New Mexico in a glass of wine.

One of just a handful of wineries in the U.S. to have earned a food-grade certification, St. Clair is committed to the highest standards in every area of wine making.

This commitment to quality is reflected in our selection of award-winning red, white and sparkling varietals. We’re proud to offer wine drinkers a taste of New Mexico unlike any other.

Our Vineyard

St. Clair grapes are grown on the 200-acre Lescombes family-owned vineyard located 47 miles west of Deming, New Mexico. Here warm days and cool nights create the ideal climate to grow some of the best grapes in New Mexico.

Our vineyard grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Merlot, Chenin Blanc, and dozens of other varieties. Harvest happens each July through September, and we continue to harvest and process our own grapes for maximum quality control.

The Lescombes family has been making wine for six generations on three continents. Pictured here from left to right are: Emmanuel Lescombes, Viticulturist; Hervé Lescombes, Founder; and Florent Lescombes, President & Wine Maker.

Our COMMITMENT
TO NEW MEXICO

Community | Land | Culture

Our roots in New Mexico run deep, and we’re committed to caring for the people and the land who infuse life into every bottle of St. Clair wine. A long-standing partnership with Roadrunner Food Bank and other New Mexico nonprofits helps us support the community we are a part of. And our agricultural practices and bottling practices are designed to care for and preserve the land our grapes are grown on.
